Our Cottages

The master bedroom is furnished in the original style with pieces from around 1900, including two original wooden beds, and a matching chest of drawers.

With two further bedrooms, bathroom, cloakroom, large living room and a separate kitchen, there is ample space for six people. The kitchen is large and fully equipped (full size hob and oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher) and has a dining area, seating six.

The cobbled courtyard is great for outdoor dining, and the garden has plenty of room for games, barbecues and animals (which are very welcome)*. The cottage stands next to the castle park, with its beautiful trees and shrubs, and you are most welcome to use it.

*Please note, we love animals, but they're messy - so we will ask you to pay €20,- per animal per stay, to cover the extra cleaning.

The second half of the farm workers' house was renovated in 2017 and has become a very spacious two-bedroom holiday apartment (approx. 140 m²) for 2 to 4 people.

Oiled oak planks everywhere on the ground floor. The large living-dining room (50 m²) has a fireplace and lots of books. There is also a long wooden table for eating or working. WiFi, TV. The open kitchen with stove, fridge / freezer and dishwasher has everything else you need for cooking and eating.

A bedroom downstairs – quiet, for 2 people – and there is also a large bathroom: slate floor and walls, spacious bathtub, shower, 2 wash basins, toilet. The morning sun shines in to wake you up.

There is plenty of space in the entrance room for a cloakroom, rubber boots and toys. Outside is the rainproof covered veranda. Upstairs the second quiet bedroom for 2 people in 2 single beds and directly opposite the bright shower room.

Across the courtyard from the Cottage, is a former stable, now converted into a cosy open-plan cottage, perfect for two people.

The French windows in the living room look onto a small garden and across a stream to the meadows beyond. The living room and kitchen are open-plan and can be heated with a wood-burning stove (in addition to the central heating). The kitchen is fully equipped (full size hob and oven, fridge, toaster, water kettle, coffee machine, pots and pans). The loft-style bedroom overlooks the living room, and the bathroom has a private sauna.

The Stable is adjacent to the castle park, with its beautiful trees and shrubs, and you are most welcome to use it.

The large sauna can be used by all guests.

The smaller sauna belongs to the stable.
